9:25 posting – There are three students so far here in 8C today and 8 in 8B – will keep you posted!!!
ELA: They are working on the handout from yesterday – the three pages at the back of the booklet – the first page cannot be done without the reading book – but the others can! Please remember that spellling and words to go are due!!!
10:50 posting: 8C is up to 4 brave students now; 8B still has 8!
MATH: Reviewed for tomorrow’s math test by competing against each other to see who could advance to the front of the classroom! Good work students!
Test: Part A: fill in the blanks with the formulas. This will be turned in before starting part B and students will be given a page with the correct formulas before starting part B. Part A is worth 12 marks.
Part B: Solve 6 volume questions involving three different types of prisms and one surface area question involving a cylinder.
PLEASE NOTE: Friday’s ski trip has been postponed to Thursday, February 2 – let’s hope for better, warmer weather by then!!! Regular classes will occur this Friday!

Library class after dinner – homework and silent reading
Followed by Fitness class for half an hour
Computer class: students were given free time today
Health class: Mrs. Beavers showed a video
